Meet Kitara,
Our Pet Groomer.
Kitara had worked with the old owner of Happy Hounds, before leaving to complete her dog grooming education. After taking a year to gain her education and craft her skills, Kitara has returned to Happy Hounds, where she now runs the Grooming Department! She takes great pride in her work, and helping animals of all breeds and backgrounds.

Specialties!
Kitara offers a variety of specialties grooming styles and techniques, and she is constantly growing her education. If your pet has special needs and/or requirements, let us know during booking.

Anxiety and Fear Free Grooming
Grooming can be a stressful process for some animals, and they may respond with teeth and claws. Kitara has special training and grooming slots available for animals whom can't be groomed at other locations due to behavioral issues. Although we offer no guarantee's, Kitara has done amazing work gaining the trust of the animals she works with.

Doodle Grooming
Doodles are a very up-and-coming and popular dog breed! They're friendly demeaners are only matched by the grooming reequipments they'll have throughout their life! Kitara has taken styling courses pertaining particularly to Doodles and is happy to express creative groomings if requested.

Medical Requirements Grooming
Some beloved pets have medical conditions that require extra care when they are being groomed. Kitara has experience working with many different conditions. She is able to performing supported grooming's for animals with missing limbs, mobility issues and old age. Kitara is also able to administer medication/ medicated shampoos based on vet instructions.

Kitara continues this philosophy in the grooming room, and has created a personal environment where owners and pets feel comfortable.
